Join us for the Kirking of the School and a Children’s Sabbath observance. This special worship service is an annual Church and School tradition with Scottish origins. Kirk is an old Scottish word for church, so a kirking is “churching” or ceremony of blessing.
Children and faculty of the Alexander Robertson School gather in the Carnegie Library at 10:00 a.m. and are led by the bagpiper around the block and into the sanctuary. Stay after worship for a celebratory Fellowship Hour.
